Home and Building History
Vintage homes and commercial buildings in the
San Joaquin Valley have stories waiting to be discovered. Lang
Historical Research will provide a unique genealogical history of
your property and create a detailed report. The report will
provide information from sources such as deeds, census records,
probate records, tax records, historical maps, local histories and
many other sources. Historical newspapers are also researched to
learn as much as possible about the previous residents.

milestone? Lang Historical Research can conduct background
histories suitable for publishing or preparing a display exhibit.
Cemetery research
We can obtain burial information
from existing cemetery offices, research funeral
home and coroner’s records,
and provide transcriptions of tombstones.
Photography services
We can take digital photographs of
tombstones, cemeteries, landmarks, family homes and other
buildings of interest. These images can enhance your family
history publication, website or family history CD or DVD.

Rates vary from $50 to $60 per
hour depending on the nature of research and the speed at which
